Photography Chose Me.
My Story
As a little kid, I was always so sad when a special event would end, or a visit from grandparents was over.
I always wished that I could just bottle up a moment so that I could experience it over and over.
I loved looking at our photo albums and watching home videos. When I later discovered photography, I realized that taking pictures was as close as I could get to bottling up those special moments so that I can revisit them and cherish them forever.
That is what I want for you too.
Life moves so fast, and as a mom it has become even more important to me to hold, to document, and to capture the small and the big moments of my babies. My favorite thing about being a photographer is bringing out the candid, the *real* moments that represent the people we love the most. I believe each moment can be a special photo opportunity if we look through the lens of joy, creativity, and gratitude.
I remember my grandpa’s film camera and how fascinated I wise about taking pictures of people. I thought I was the coolest person in the world when I got my first digital camera in the early 2000s. In 2014 I started taking photos professionally, and my love of photography has survived through life changes, moves, and becoming a mom. My favorite thing is helping camera shy individuals and skeptics have an enjoyable experience having their picture taken, and I bring a laid back energy to my shoots so you can relax while I do the heavy lifting.
Life moves at a breathtaking pace, and the moments that matter most often pass by in the blink of an eye. Photography is the gift that allows us to pause time and preserve these fleeting memories forever. Through my lens, I capture the beauty, love, and connection that make life so extraordinary. Every photo tells a story—and allows us to hold on to moments we will treasure for a lifetime.
